What LikeLocal collects

Usage events that help us understand onboarding, destination selection, search, and saved preferences.
Basic technical diagnostics needed to investigate crashes, rendering issues, and stability problems.
Support information that you voluntarily send when contacting us.
Quote request information that you voluntarily submit, such as destination, dates, travelers, budget, stay preference, requested services, interests, message, name, email, and optional phone or WhatsApp details.
LikeLocal Stays booking information when you book a stay: your email, name, phone number, dates, and number of guests. We use it to process the booking and share the necessary details with the accommodation provider so they can host you. Payments are processed by Stripe — we never see or store your card details.

What LikeLocal does not collect by default

Precise location data.
Contact lists, photos, microphone recordings, or camera data.
Payment card details inside LikeLocal.

How information is used

To operate LikeLocal and keep destination content, search, and progress features working.
To improve product quality, diagnose bugs, and prioritize future destinations and features.
To respond to support requests and release-related issues.
To respond to quote requests and prepare relevant local travel, accommodation, car rental, boat, transfer, route, or activity options for available destinations.

LikeLocal does not sell personal data. We may use infrastructure and analytics vendors that process information on our behalf to host the website, store diagnostics, receive quote requests, and measure product quality. When a quote request requires accommodation, car rental, boat, transfer, activity, or other travel options, details may be shared with relevant operators only as needed to respond to that request.

Retention

We keep operational and support information only for as long as needed to run the service, comply with legal obligations, and resolve product issues.

Your rights

You can contact us to request access, correction, or deletion of personal data associated with your support interactions or account records, if any exist. Additional jurisdiction-specific rights may apply depending on where you live.
